Fajardo Typeface

The design of the Fajardo Typeface started with the visual investigation of a town's typefaces. I chose to investigate the Village of South Orange, New Jersey. Most of the typefaces along South Orange Avenue are Old Style typefaces and few businesses use more modern ones. As a result, I decided to design a transitional typeface that looks both old style and modern.
